with few homes ever for sale. I have a qualified buyer interested in homes in a certain area where there are no active listings. Also, my client's offer wouldn't be contingent on the sale of his current home. The MLS shows a couple listings that have been withdrawn/ canc. in this neighborhood that might work for him. I know a little about a one party listing situation, but have never done one and need a little advice. I have also mailed letters in the past letting homesowners know I had buyers (which I really did) for different neighborhoods, so I have a letter prepared already, and could revise that to send. What would be the best way to approach someone in this area, which is gated, to see if there is someone interested in selling? Would it be stupid to contact the prior listing agent to see if they would want to approach their prior client? I would appreciate any helpful advice. Thanks so much!
