this is a post from a (formerly happy) HV Subscriber on today's MM Forum...

"wow - got my first money call off HomePages..... Jumping up and down for joy.

Contact buyer who wanted specific street addie but she tells me she's already called the listing agent shown on HP via the phone number shown for him on HP. Yes- This was for a listing from the Real Estate book imported by HV.

And insult to injury, the agent she called from the info on HP isn't even the current listing agent! The data showing was for an expired listing. The home is currently listed by another agent and at a different price than shown in HP, so I cannot even tell the buyer 'you need professional buyer representation' because guess what, the person she now has contact is not the listing agent!

Am I airing my concerns publicly on the forum? - Yes. Should I be? Probably not according to HV... but this practice of having telephone numbers and web pop ups for external; non paying, non members of HV/HP is driving me nuts! And expired listings on HP - disgusting!

This is a classic example of loosing a great lead because of HV having too much info on listings imported from external sources on non IDX compliant areas! I've been told it is what it is and HV cannot change this for now."

Just 1 example of problems, mostly technical or out of their control. Biggest problem...IF YOU DON'T HAVE "IDX" IN YOUR AREA FORGET IT!!
