Does anyone have a basic form letter informing clients of an agent changing brokerages. If so can you post it. Thanks

Does this work?....

Never mind...I deleted this. I posted a letter to your broker about the change, not to clients about the change.

Unless your phone number changed, why bother sending such a letter?

I would would use it as an excuse to contact my clients. To announce this move as an improvement in what I can do for them.

Maybe it's the new resources that will be available to you. Maybe it's the fact that the office has a local focus. Maybe the location is better.

There should be a pretty good list of reasons why this change is a good thing. Share those with your clients.

In fact, use this as an opportunity to walk your farm. Carry the announcement along with local market info. When they answer say something like, "Hello, I'm . you may recognize me from previous visits or seen signs for the propreties I have sold in the area. I just wanted to let everyone in the neighborhood where I focus my services that I have made an exciting change of offices that is going to allow me to provide an even higher standard of performance to my clients." etc. etc. Give them the info you have for them.

I've been invited to affiliate with one of the most productive real estate companies in the world. In an effort to provide continuing quality service, I'm pleased to announce that I've elected to accept the position.

I've built my business on providing quality service. In fact, over 70% of my business now comes from repeat and referral business. I believe the best way to attract new business is "word-of-mouth." Therefore, if you, a friend, or a relative are interested in buying or selling real estate now or in the future, you have my word that I will provide quality real estate service.

Please make a note of my new address and telephone number for all of your real estate needs.
