Sorry if this sounds a bit elementary..but I am a fairly new agent finally deciding to concentrate on listings. I am in the process of ordering my yard signs (and just like everything else) I have too many choices. Can someone suggest the best type (and easiest to install) yard sign to purchase - Gibraltor units, thor units, or hanging signs?

Here we have sign posts install and pickup for $20. Don't care much if it's easy or not.

Check with your Broker and see if they have any requirements on signs.

I use a couple companies, but they're all approved by my broker. I think I use a customized "Texan Unit", which is tall, but narrow. Rider signs take up the 2 extra marketing slots.

Some subdivisions have restrictions on sign size also so take that into account if you are working subdivisions.

I've used Dee Signs (www.deesigncompany.com) for close to 15 years. They do a great job and the prices are reasonable.
Our signs (panels) are 18" x 24" hardboard and we use powdercoated black steel frames. They are easy to see and are very durable. I've gotten on average, 4 years use out of the panels.
They do not charge a setup fee and will custom design art for you as well @ no charge.
They have the major franchise artwork already, so your order shoud be shipped quickly if you are with a franchise. It usually takes us about 10 days to receive our order.

I've also been a happy Dee customer for several years now. If you really want to set your yard sign apart from everyone else's order the reflective paint option. When a car's headlight hit those babies at night and they glow like a stop sign they really stand out while all the other signs are still in the dark.

realestate1989, are you only 17? Anyway don't know where you are located but if in CA try Signs by Tomorrow. If you have to have panels made, they do have them ready by tomorrow and they are relatively inexpensive.

I have used a couple of differnet ones with the two companies that I have been with. My first company had the metal signs that you stick in the ground. They are not very tall, but they did the job and advertising for an open house was easy with the maginets. Now I use the plastic signs that hang on those really big post. I think that they look nicer, and are alot higher off of the ground, but they really can be a pain to install and to have to put up the name riders and open house riders( really bad whent he wind is blowing). But agian they look nice and I have gotten a few calls because of this reason. Good luck on decideing

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
