I just wanted to post my mis-fortune on the board today and warn all agents to us Refferral Agreements (a.k.a get it in writing) with in office agents.


I captured a Seller lead (460k) off of a free point2agent website 3 months ago- and reffered it to another agent in my office on a verbal. She's spent the last 20 yrs on a car lot if that means anything. MY MISTAKE!... as now my broker is taking her side by stating "usually agreements like that are in the file"? Both the broker and this agent told me I would be getting a standard refferral 2 months previously.


Lesson Learned!!!!!


P.S. I have a good Refferral Agreement if anyone needs it! davidmote@hotmail.com
