Your right. But I don't think there is a need for it in my area. I will try it in the spring and summer.

I just want to say, THE "BIG WHY" idea is like probally the most motivational thing Ive heard, before I got my RE License I had the most motivation of anyone Ive ever met, I could do anything and then three years of going through hell and back, emotionally, physically, financially and being taken advantage of like basically took all my motivation away and basically thats whats gonna drive me "THE BIG WHY" thx.

I think its @ 100 bucks hes a well respected door knocker that trains EXiT agents. www.billnasby.com everyone I have talked to swears by it, but I will find out for myself before I endorse it.

I agree L. I'm thinking of trying it. I'm very new and have knocked on 2 doors for expired listings. Both had already decided to relist before I showed up, but I was suprised that both greeted me warmly and the door was not shut in my face. I'm not really very outgoing, so I'm kind of suprising myself but I think I'm up to trying this in my farm area.

Does anyone have any advice on what to say to a FSBO when you show up at their door?

Just got the Bill Nasby cds. It tood 1 month to get here and much confusion on my order but let me tell you, they are like gold.

The series was very easy to listen to and everything was explained very nicely. I cant wait to get started. I will be practicing my script to nail it down and will listen another time or two. I will let you know of my results.

There is a good "door knocking" blueprint here:

Hello We are in the people's needs filling business, when I door knock I see stuffin the garage overstuffed They need a bigger place. They just haven't decided or don't know how to go about it. Door knocking lets me meet the new adventure face to face, Canvass expired listings and door the street while you are already there. Door knocking has been the most successful marketing tool but we get trapped into looking after the details of a transaction so cease our canvassing activities. My personal goal is to canvass in some form 2 hours per day. Getting two listings from two days of door knocking would supercharge my life.

David,
What kind of results do you get? Have you just started or have you been knocking for some time?
Thanks.

God Bless all of you that door knock. smile

I just believe there are much easier ways to generate leads in this business.

Yes some will list with you because you are there, but is that really the most efficient way to get the best results,is it the best use of your time?

Cold Calling and door knocking are things of the past, that's why floyd wickman said in his interview that he laid low for awhile because the sweathog program wasn't as effective anymore and he had to come up with something new that applied to today's re rules and regs with the dnc list.Joey meyer did alot of door knocking in the past and has some good stuff on it.

Results: I feel that 3 leads or one deal per 100 doors ( real face to face time ) is worth the investment.

Some people here have had fabulous results I wish i could achieve.
